Rohnert Park, February 7, 2012
The Small Business Development Center at Santa Rosa Junior College will be offering the highly-acclaimed NxLeveL™ Entrepreneur Course beginning March 8 – May 24, 2012.
The NxLeveL™ Entrepreneur course is a 12-session small business development program designed to help entrepreneurs advance their skills in growing and managing their companies. Since 1994, over 300,000 business leaders across 50 states as well as in Europe, Canada, Mexico and Asia have participated in this proven small business training curriculum.
The need for high-quality business training for entrepreneurs has never been greater. The NxLeveL™ Entrepreneur course teaches small business owners how to implement new and effective strategies in their day-to-day operations. Examples of topics covered in the course include leadership, market research, financial management, sales, organizational structure and effective negotiation.
“Many entrepreneurs are extremely knowledgeable about their unique product or service but don't know how to run the ‘business side’ of their business." states SBDC Director Lorraine DuVernay. She adds, "The NxLeveL™ Entrepreneur Course teaches them how to successfully manage their business and build a foundation for growth.”
The NxLeveL™ Entrepreneur Course is taught by Noah Harris, a Certified NxLevel instructor, and includes twelve class sessions, textbooks, guest speakers, professional mentoring and valuable networking opportunities with fellow participants. The cost of the course including materials has been reduced from $495 to $195 for all Sonoma County businesses thanks to sponsorship by the North Bay Entrepreneurship Center. An additional $50 discount is available from the City of Rohnert Park to the first 10 Rohnert Park businesses that register. Additional participants from the same business may enroll for $95, excluding materials.
Free NxLeveL™ orientation sessions will be held at Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster, 1300 Valley House Drive #100, Rohnert Park, CA 94928 on Thursday, February 23 or March 1. Classes are held at the same location as the orientations.
